Why does Marla size need picking? A "Marla" isn't a fixed international unit — different eras and regions of Pakistan have used 225, 245, 250, and 272.25 sq ft as the standard. If you're not sure which applies to your plot, 250 sq ft is the most common modern usage; 272.25 sq ft (exactly 1⁄20th of a Kanal, 1⁄160th of an Acre) is the surveyor's definition often used in official land records.
